I don't understand the logic of those who say the voters didn't give President Obama a mandate when the voters re-elected President Obama.
If the president's lead in Florida holds, he will have 332 electoral votes; 126 more than Mr. Romney, and only 33 shy of his 2008 election. Of the 10 states that were supposed to decide the election, President Obama won 9. And he has a 3 Million vote lead in the popular vote. That sure sounds like a mandate to me.
By the way, when George Bush was re-elected in 2004, he only received 286 electoral votes; defeated John Kerry by only 35 electoral votes. And he led the popular vote by 3 Million. Yet, the repuglicans claimed a mandate in that election. Just goes to show you the utter hypocrisy of the GOP.
