Sad news for Marie Osmond as it was announced her 18 year old son, Michael Blosil, jumped to his death from his LA apartment building on Friday.

Michael had been suffering from depression all his life, and he apparently decided this most extreme method was the only way to end his pain.

It's so sad that this young man couldn't find help in modern medicine. We are still in the age of leeches and alchemists when it comes to mental health care. They have all these drugs, but they don't really know what's going on in the brain. They don't really know how the drugs work. And frequently the drugs don't work at all, so let's give even more drugs on top of that.

All of the gayz should give out a special prayer for Marie and her family tonight. She has been such a supporter of our community, and our fight for marriage equality. We should be thinking about her in her time of grief.
