Within five minutes after finishing up my previous post, I read this on Joe My God.14 repugs have signed on to Rep. Paul Broun's (GA) house resolution encouraging the president to designate 2010 as "the year of the Bible."
This is the same wackjob who has proposed a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, and (I love this) a law which would withhold federal funds from any school where the students recited the Pledge of Allegiance in any language other than English.
Nuff said....

What do you expect, the jerk is from GA. I tried to zoom in to see what those fucking pins were on his lapel. I figured one was for Jebus and the other had a swastika. Unfortunately they became too distorted. Probably best that I don't know.
The question is how do we (citizens) get people like this out of office. They have an appeal to their constituents that I don't think can be broken.
I live in Kansas. We have a representative Todd Tiahart. He is just as evil as this guy. No matter who the Dems throw at him he always wins by 70%. I'm convinced ignorance cannot be overcome with logic. Kansans continually vote against their best interests and it appears that Georgians do too.
Keep up the good work of pointing these repugs out to us.
