The Vermont Senate voted 26-4 yesterday to approve a bill that would replace civil unions with marriage for gays and lesbians. The bill now goes to the House, which is also expected to approve it. The governor is not in favor of marriage equality, but has not stated publicly if he would veto the bill or not.
Hey haters....give it up. Marriage Equality is coming.....whether you like it or not!

I know it looks good to go, but I just can't celebrate until the Gov. does his thing. The governor is opposed to same sex marriage, but they think he will allow it to become law without his signature. I'm not sure how that works, but it will be interesting. My fingers are crossed. Eventually, all will come tumbling down.
