Unbelievable is all I can say. Last night, a bunch of ghetto trash marched in support of Lovelle Mixon, and against the Oakland Police Department. He's the guy who killed 4 Oakland officers last weekend during a routine traffic stop. He was subsequently killed during a gunfight with Oakland PD.I'm sorry, but I have no sympathy for this asshole. He's nothing more than garbage wrapped in skin. And that goes for his family too, who were in attendance. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. In normal families, if a family member goes bad apple and gets killed, you mourn in silence. You're ashamed of the situation. You don't march in support of the guy. They have no shame.
Mixon killed the officers because he didn't want to go back to prison. It's reported that he also recently raped a 12 year old girl. I'm sure he's in a place much worse than prison now.

Well said. I'm all for support when the police get brutal. i.e., the incident at the BART. But when some asshole gets killed while he is killing police, the public mourning for that individual is obscene. The public mourning should be for the police. I'm one of those people that really believe that the police are out there to protect us, and by doing so earn some special respect. Now, don't go setting me up for sting operation in the video arcade as in NYC. That's not good policing.
