I think you are overly critical of San Francisco. You should try living in Wichita, Kansas, or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, or any other conservative back water town. Everyone does smoke cigarettes and everyone bums cigarettes. No one is gay, but there's a lot of sex going on in the adult video stores and parks and rest areas. Be thankful that you can be yourself in public and not be too worried about being beat up. I love visiting your city. It's like going to Mecca.

just because it's open and accepting of a place, doesn't give people the right to be hypocrites.
