Sometimes some random thought will cross my mind and I'll type it into google. Amazingly, I usually get something rather insightful out of the results. Like today. In one little random google search, I was reminded exactly what's wrong with "middle America." Or as Sarah Palin calls it, the "real America."

Years ago I lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I was thinking about Tulsa today. So I did a google search. The first thing that popped up was a myspace page from some guy named Josh, 29, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I saw this:

1. Has Saturday Night Live, NBC, and nearly every other television and print media outlet mentioned that they want you to vote for Barak Obama because you are so repelled by the associations of McCain with Bush?

2. Even though we all would like to see some changes from the last 8 years of White House leadership, are we willing to use our power to vote without first knowing how much our values align with those of whom we vote for?

3. Have you figured out just how insane and morally irresponsible ardent Obama supporters are? While I know there are the deep intellectuals who would sooner quench their yesternight bar benge with the wrong kind of mocha latte than they would step foot into a Christian bookstore, there are also those blue voters who see this as an opportunity to make this country safe for all the criminals with no moral core

Don't forget to vote. Go, Obama! The whole liberal press and criminal world is rooting for you, knives in hand.

What a stupid, moronic thing to say. Just because I don't have the same world view as you, I am amoral, practically satanist, want to coddle criminals, and destroy America. Never mind that the people YOU vote for have done a pretty good job of dragging America down without any help from us amoral, godless, Obama supporters.

I wonder if people like you really understand what it's like to have a relationship with God. He's your crutch. Your magic wand. You pull him out to dispell all that you think is evil. There is no intellectual thought going on there. You don't engage God. If I were God, I would be offended.
