Big shocker here. Clay Aiken is coming out in the October 6 issue of People. Clay said the catalyst for coming out publicly is his newborn son, Parker Foster Aiken. He said he "could not raise a child to lie or hide things."What took him so long to cum out? I'm sure it had something to do with concerns about his career. I'm guessing he finally realized he had none, so he had nothing to lose. Kind of like Mr. Sulu.
Anyway, it's a little anticlimactic, but congrats, Clay, on finally kicking down that closet door.
