This story from Buzzflash just blew me away. Actually it's in two parts.

First of all, the administration has doubled the number of government officials who receive Secret Service protection. All kinds of folks, like the Chief of Staff, who used to have to fend for themselves, are now under the protection of the Secret Service.

But the kicker of this is that the Secret Service is planning to use 103 full-time agents to protect Bush after he leaves office in 2009!!!!!!

How many bodyguards does one village idiot need????? 103 seems a bit excessive. Especially considering that he isn't providing proper body armour to our troops in Iraq.

How many people has this guy pissed off? Oh yeah, that's right. You, me, most of the country, and the entire rest of the population of Earth.
